The Tarot

The tarot is a pack of playing cards that originated over 500 years ago in northern Italy and of Europe to play a group of card games such as French tarot and Italian tarocchini.

From the late 18th century until the present time the tarot has also found use by mystics and occultists for divination.

Today, the Tarot is far and away the most popular tool for spiritual introspection in the West.
